From the Best Western Old Colony Inn

If you are staying at the Best Western Old Colony Inn, 1101 North Washington Street, Alexandria, you will be approximately 0.9 miles from the Alexandria Lyceum. Walking directions are here.

Via Metrorail

The DC Metrorail station nearest the Lyceum is King Street–Old Town, at 1900 King Street, Alexandria. This station is on the Blue and Yellow Lines. An interactive map of the Metrorail system is located here. The King Street station is approximately 0.9 miles from the Lyceum. Walking directions are here. Taxis are often available at the station.

Further, between 11:30 a.m. and 10:15 p.m. you can use the free King Street Trolley. The trolley’s Columbus Street stop is two blocks from the Lyceum (a trolley map is on the second page of this flyer).

If you require a taxi departing from the Lyceum, feel free to ask the staff at the Lyceum’s main desk to order one for you.

Via Private Automobile

If you require a handicapped parking space, you are welcome to park in a designated space in the small lot at the Alexandria Lyceum. Other drivers are asked to find parking elsewhere, since the Lyceum’s function as a city museum will continue while our conference is in session.

If you are staying at the Best Western Old Colony Inn, you can park your car there for no additional fee.
